PERSONNEL COMMITTEE

This committee is responsible for general staffing matters and office procedures and policies. Its function is to:

 

• Provide and review staffing policies and procedures - e.g. health and safety, lone working, etc.

• Arrange, together with the Clerk, annual staff appraisals and follow up on points arising from them

• Consider pay awards

• Be responsible (sometimes with other committees) for the recruitment and retention of staff
