St Just in Roseland Parish Council

INFORMATION


Day: The Parish Council meets monthly on the first Monday of the month. If this day is a public or bank holiday the meeting will be on the following Monday.


Time: Meetings commence at 7:00pm unless advertised otherwise.


Place: The Millenium Rooms, St Mawes (11 meetings) and The Institute, St Just in Roseland (1 meeting).


Agenda: This is published in advance of all meetings.It is posted on the noticeboards in St Mawes, St Just and online.The location of the St Mawes noticeboard is in the Main Car Park, outside the entrance to The Arcade shopping centre. The St Just noticeboard is outside the Outdoor Adventure Centre, St Just Lane (A3078).


Speaking at Public Meetings

There is a public participation section on every agenda. This is up to 15 minutes long where any member of the public may address the councillors on matters.


Speaking with Councillors

Council members may discuss issues informally with the public prior to the meetings.


Suspending Standing Orders

On occasions, at the discretion of the Chairman, a committee may request additional information from attendees in order to better inform its decision making.  For this to happen, a proposal to suspend standing orders needs to be made by a councillor and supported by a majority of the councillors present.
